Making a Bug Palace

Bug Palace Shopping List – Living Willow Wales

Preparation

  • Cutting the pallets about 2/3 back, behind the middle block, gives a good size.
  • The ground will need leveling and the bricks placed to act as supports and walls for the bottom story hedgehog house.
  • Use a level to make sure the first pallet lays flat in all directions; you want it all to be stable
  • Fill the spaces inside with fleece, straw, twigs, bark or anything else you’ve plenty of
  • Fill the sides in with larger things first and get these stable and then fill with smaller things
