Dried Willow
Although we primarily use our own willow for living structures and sculptures, we may have some left over at the end of the season for sale as dried willow. This would be brown willow which is willow dried with the bark on. Please contact us for details.
Living Willow
We have some living willow for sale, please contact us for details.
I am happy to have other people involved in the build: this could be having children, parents and children involved at a school or youth group; as a workshop for a company or community organisation; or the owner of the land inviting a few friends around to help out.
I also have a 10 minute talk and slide-show prepared which I’m happy to give at any stage of the build and would be included in any fixed price build.
All prices for the standard living willow structures stated include the cost of the willow, bark mulch (I remove a spades width of turf around the base of the structure and fill it with bark mulch), labour and travel within 20 miles of Lampeter, Ceredigion, West Wales. Extra travel is charged at 40p per mile, plus accomodation if necessary.
Extra mulch mat can be supplied to cover the whole area of the structure, and this can be covered with bark and possible enclosed with treated timber. Please contact us for a quote.
The build can also include a 10 minute talk, slide-show and question and answer session at any stage. This is popular with schools were I would come in on my initial visit and use it to get the children thinking about possible designs, which I could then come back at a later stage and build with them.
Bespoke Living Willow Installations
Please contact us for a quote for bespoke installations, although if it is a combination of the above standard structures you can get a rough idea of the price.
Maintenance/Consultation – Hourly Rate
My basic rate is £150 per day or £20 per hour plus 40p per mile, plus accomodation costs if necessary.
