This arbour is in the allotment next to our house so we’ve been able to monitor its growth over the years. It is an excellent example of just how much a living willow creation will transform in just a few years if all of the new growth is woven back in and the conditions are just right. I planted this in the winter of 2008 (Lisa has been very good about keeping it woven, when she should have been digging potatoes) and the latest photos are from this winter (Jan 2011).
